Синтаксична складність на проміжному рівні письма під час вивчення англійської як іноземної ранніми збалансованими білінгвами

У статті йдеться про емпіричне психолінгвістичне дослідження, спрямоване на вивчення синтаксичної складності в англійській мові як іноземній (EFL). 15 збалансованих двомовних боснійсько-шведських учнів EFL було відібрано для дослідження, разом з відповідними контрольними групами монолінгвів. Експеримент передбачав написання непідготовленого твору англійською мовою про найзначущі винаходи 20-го століття. Твори було проаналізовано в програмі L2 Syntactic Complexity Analyzer і SPSS відповідно. Аналіз даних уключав показники синтаксичної складності. Було встановлено, що твори збалансованих двомовних боснійсько-шведських учнів EFL характеризувала статистично значуща кількість Т-одиниць у порівнянні з контрольними групами. Ці висновки представлені та обговорені в статті.
